This weeks challenge over at The Crafty Pad has been set by our lovely Maxine and it is a Recipe:-

1 Fancy Edge

2 Hearts

3 Papers

The prize shall be 1 week GDT using a DIGI stamp

that the DT shall be working with too. :) :)

If you use a Crafty Pad stamp then your name is entered twice.

If you do not use a Crafty Pad stamp then your name is entered once.

Here is my take on the recipe

I have used Roshell & Eggward stamp (from The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs)

you can them here

Papers are American Crafts, oval nesties, Promarkers to colour,

Lace border, stamps and flower from stash.  Hearts are punched.

I used Anitas 3D gloss to highlight.

Quirky Crafts Challenge..and Trimmie Craft Challenge

I am entering this into the CRAFT challenge too - their challenge this week is RED.. :) :)

As  you know I (The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs) is sponsoring Quirky Crafts for their fortnightly challenges this month.   Their new challenge is out today which is  Teddy Bears - any crafty project is suitable as long as you have a bear on it.  A nice easy one to join in with eh?

There are 2 Crafty Pad stamps to be won. :) :)

They kindly asked me to do GDT again and this is what I came up with......

An altered mini dart board cover - all will be revealed as you scroll down..lol

It is a mini tutorial if you fancy giving it a go :-

I have used this mini wooden dart board cover - but

you could use a small box or tin.

I used Tim Holtz alcohol ink - Pool Blue

to dab over all over the wood.

This is the effect it gave

Create the wording on the PC as shown in the picture below -

I used natural coloured card for this.

Using the Ted - Hugs stamp or digi download (from The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs)

HERE

Colour as preferred.

Cut 3 pieces of ribbed card to the size you require

to cover your surfaces and adhere your image,

and wording onto 2 of them.

Cut another smaller piece to suit the size of you sentiment and adhere.

Now adhere all the elements as shown below.

I have added red heart shaped brads and

also silver mirri card punched hearts.

I also used Anita's 3D gloss to the word 'HUGS' on Ted.

That is it - now you have some 'HUGS'

you can give to someone for them to keep

and use as they need them..lol

I have used Roshell Friends Digi Image with Sentiment

(coloured version) from The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs.

MME papers, Swirl CB folder, Circular Nesties, Stickles

Flowers, Bling and Brads from stash.

Animals for The Crafty Pad and an RAK....:)

Over at The Crafty Pad todays challenge is - 'Animals', lets see at least one animal on your projects. :)

We have the lovely Suzi starting today as one of our new DT's. Welcome Suzi. :)
We also have the lovely Linda as our GDT and she is the one offering an RAK in this weeks challenge.

Second post of the day..:) Quirky Crafts

I don't blog for ages and now I am posting up twice in the one day..:)

The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs is sponsoring Quirky Crafts for the month of Jan and today is their first challenge of the month.

Their challenge is 'YELLOW' and they invited me to be a GD with them..yayy.  I was thrilled of course and accepted. :)

The Crafty Pad Sketch. :)

Hope all my blogging pals are keeping nice and warm in this Brrrrrr. cold weather.

Over at The Crafty Pad Challenge site we have a sketch for you to follow this week. :)

I have used Roshell with Brolly Digi Image, coloured in on PC,

American Crafts BP, mirri card, nesties,

glitter glue, bling stones, flowers.

Added a wee bit of faux stitching. :)

I did find it difficult to photogaph because of the light shining on the glitter glue

but it does look fine in real life in the ordinary light. :)
