The challenge is to do a LO of Pet Hates and these are just some of mine. The challenge is over at 2Jills

Caardvarks & PCJ Challenge

This card I have made for 2 different challenges. One for Caardvarks(their challenge was for fibre), PCJ challenge is something old and something new (the stamp I used is new Paperbag Studio), and the buttons and wool are old. So I think the one card is a good candidate for both challenges.

CMU Challenge

Here is my challenge entry for CMU. The theme was 'Seaside'. Little shells are real shells - cute aren't they?

When I was Published

I should have really put this as my first entry of my blog! This is when I got published in Quick & Crafty Card magazine June 2006. I was thrilled to bits and so chuffed when I found out. This card I designed was meant to be a simple bright cheerful card, just something to brighten someones day!

CB Challenge

CB run different challenges and this one this month was to use kitchen items. I found this challenge brilliant and had lots of inspiration easily. For this one I made a card, place mat and small gift. The card uses tin foil, tumble-drier sheet, food colouring, pasta bows painted with food colouring and waxed paper with petals from my garden sealed between. The place mat and gift are also wrapped in waxed paper with petals sealed.

Over on the PCJ site they have their weekly challenge. Last weeks challenge was Planes, Trains and Automobiles. So here was my contribution - I want to scrap my son from being born till now (he's 21)!! So I have a lot of scrapping to be going on with. Thank you PCJ for choosing a theme to inspire me to start.

Runner-up Card

Here's is a card I thought I would share with you. It came runner-up in crafty computer paper July competition, lucky me eh! another prize this time it was a 25% discount voucher from their site.
You had to use an elememt of their paper and I used the injet embossing paper to print my image on, then I trippled embossed with UTEE to give it a glazed tile effect. Very impressed with how it turned out and the paper was so easy to use.

The beginning of my blog...

Well this is my first blog and to start it off with I'll begin with the card I submitted to CB card competition in July......and it won! I was thrilled to bits to have won - and I'm really looking forward to receiving my prize which is £100 worth of Create and Craft goodies (should be a good selection). For this card I bought the box and cut base cards to size. I used allsorts of embellishments, stamping, embossing and glitter. Joined all cards together with satin ribbon and attached to inside box lid. It then folds beautifully into the box itself. I loved this card so much I made another - more of a vintage feel - for my sister, it's in my slideshow if you fancy a peek.
