This week's Little Extra theme is: "Hang Up Your Stockings". here is my take on this challenge - it is only a quickie card, took me 10 -15 minutes to make. :) Fireplace is printed from pc and stocking is spotted felt which I cut. I lined the inside of the card too with the same papermania paper but forgot to photo it!!
..this week is LOVE. I have entered this LO of my mum for this challenge. I made this LO when I made her scrapbook, but I think it is so apt for this challenge and of course I love my mum to bits. :) I used Kay & Co papers and stickers.
This week they would like to get us making some christmas gifts. I have made this card, but I think it is a gift also, for my mum. It is made from an old cigar tin, papermania papers, gold brads and gold star sequins to embellish. Used the cuttlebug embossing folder too for the inside paper. Now, because my mum is partial sighted things need to be larger - right! She loves to get cards etc the same as other members of the family, so on the inside I have amde a rather large 'tag'. It fits into the regular size we crafters would make, but as she pulls it out it unfolds into the length of an A4 sheet and I have hand written in large bold letters so she can read it. Think she will be happy with it. :0 :)
..from Magickdiva's weekly challenge. They are adhesive ribbons - aren't they fab, Oooh I'm soooo happy. :) ;) :) Also I'll just pop in this Inchie I made yesterday from tjcdesigns coffee break inchie challenge - CALL. It took me all of 2-3 minutes!! :)
Here is a sleigh card made using the template designed by the lovely Mez over at tjc forum. It is free to download so pop on over and check it out. The photo isn't great - it's so grey and not much light. :(
Well I've managed another LO for my son's album and it is made with PCJ challenge 2 rectangles, 1 square, 3 circles. I used Basic Grey paper for the 12 x 12 sheet. My son was so pleased and excited when he got his first car - bless, we were also so pleased, proud, excited and very worried, we couldn't wait for him to return home after his first solo journey - but our worries were needless! Of course he was presented the good old fluffy dice - everyone should be-able to claim they owned a pair at some stage - don't you think LOL
This week on PCJ the challenge is to make a card with 3 circles, 2 rectangles and 1 square. The challenge was posted up last night and I have just completed my take on it, so I'm pleased I found the time to finish it so soon.:) Thought I would use the opportunity to make a birthday card for my nephew who is footie mad. This is my take on the challenge. :)
Over at FatFreddies they have just started a weekly tagged challenge - were they choose someone to do a set challenge. I was first one chosen and my challenge was to make a DL birthday card using lilac, pink, black, green, and silver and to use 2ribbons. So here is my take on it:-
The wonderful Louly created this design for her curvy card and it is free to download from tjcdesigns.co.uk. Here is my version of her card, I must say it does look much better in real life - I can't seem to get the light right! But don't think it shows too badly in this pic. :)
